Reptiles have scales, most of them lay eggs and they are cold blooded. This means they can’t warm their bodies on their own)

Snakes are reptiles. Snakes fun facts:

• They can’t bite food so they have to swallow it whole.

• They are found everywhere except Antarctic.

• They shed their skin a number of times a year.

• They don’t like the smell of cinnamon, onion, garlic and lime.

Activity: Salted dough snakes

Mix together:

• 2 cups of flour

• 1cup of salt

• 3/4 cup water

• 1tsp oil

Make some snakes with the dough.

Bake them 3h at 200 degrees F.

Then let them sit out overnight before painting.

I found this snake at Michaels and it was fun to paint and to play with.
