Our organs
All our organs have a special job to keep our body going.
Activity: Learn about the organs
Use the drawing of the human body with the organs to show your child where each organ is and what is its job. You can make it more playful by using “organ toys“.
The brain: It controls nearly everything that goes on in your body. The brain is constantly working. It thinks and controls muscles.
The heart: It’s a very strong pump that sends the blood around the body multiple times every single minute!
The stomach: It’s part of the digestive system. The food goes through the œsophagus down to the stomach, where acidic juices help to break it down.
Big and small intestines: They are the final stage of the digestive system. The soup-like food passes into the blood stream so it can sent all around the body what it needs.
The kidneys: Their job is to filter waste from the blood, which is carried by the water and produce urine to get rid of it from the body.
