No candy trick or treat ideas

Halloween is a fun time for kids, but eating to much candy is very unhealthy. You can have a fun healthy Halloween that kids will love. To make sure you are not ending up with tons of candy, write a nice letter asking for a no candy trick or treat and put it in all your neighborhood mailboxes. Give them some alternative ideas that don’t cost a ton of money.

Here are some examples:

Fruits:

Any fruits will work, put some eyes stickers on it or draw on it (only on fruits with a thick skin like banana, mandarin, oranges).

String cheese:

String cheese makes fun ghost.

Pop corn:

I use plain pop corn, put it in a cup with lid and some eyes stickers on it.

Toys and mini slime:

Stickers:

Stickers are cheap and fun and they keep your chikdren busy. 😊

To know which neighbor is participating, ask them to put a « pumpkin healthy Halloween«  sign on their door.
